Supported Components for License Types

The following table displays the components supported for the indicated license types.

Appliance Store Usage	Mount paths configured in the disk libraries of the Commvault Appliance.
Application Class Virtual	Virtual machines that run the following application agents: Active Directory Agent Exchange Database Agent Microsoft SQL Server Agent Oracle Agent SharePoint Agent
Archived Mailboxes	Mailboxes archived by the following agents: Exchange Mailbox Archiver Agent Exchange Compliance Archiver Agent Domino Mailbox Archiver Agent OnePass for Exchange Mailbox (Classic) Note This license requires a capacity license to calculate the archiving jobs.
Content Indexed Objects	Documents that are content indexed by the Search Engine.
VM Sockets on Hypervisor Hosts	VM sockets on physical hypervisor hosts configured with the Virtual Server Agent (all supported hypervisors).
Deduplication Active Store Capacity	Disk libraries associated to deduplicated storage policies.
End Point User End Point Sharing User End Point E-Discovery User	Users that make use of Web Console features to back up, share, and search data.
Application Users	Mailboxes protected by the following agents: Domino Mailbox Archiver Agent Exchange Mailbox Archiver Agent Exchange Mailbox Agent Exchange Mailbox (Classic) Agent Exchange Mailbox Archiver Agent Exchange Public Folder Agent Exchange Public Folder Archiver Agent OnePass for Exchange Mailbox (Classic) Google mail and drive data per Google user account. OneDrive for Business per user account SharePoint Online per user account
Protected Virtual Instances	Virtual instances configured with the Virtual Server Agent (all supported hypervisors) and/or Kubernetes applications.
Virtual Machines	Virtual machines configured with the Virtual Server Agent (all supported hypervisors). Note This license requires the necessary traditional licenses for Virtual Server Agent backups.
