Using the Commvault Certificate Tool

To acquire a CA-signed certificate and secure the Commvault Tomcat Service, use the Commvault Certificate Tool.

If you want to renew your expired certificate, replace an old certificate with a new one, or use a new CA-signed certificate, use the Commvault Certificate Tool.

Note

You must use the tool to complete the steps that are necessary to you. For example, if you already have a keystore containing signed certificates, you must perform only step 6, Configure the Tomcat service.

Procedure

  1. Create a workspace.

  2. Define settings in the workspace configuration file.

  3. Generate a key pair.

  4. Generate a CSR.

  5. Import the CA-signed certificate.

  6. Configure the Tomcat service.
