A workspace contains the following artifacts:

backups: A folder into which cvct places backup copies of certain files before overwriting them.

cacerts: A folder where you can place files provided by your CA in response to a Certificate Signing Request (CSR).

logs: A folder for holding log files created by the tool.

cvct-state: An internal state file used by the tool. You must not edit this file.

cvct.properties: A workspace configuration file that contains settings to control how actions are performed. You must customize settings to get your Tomcat server running with a new CA-signed certificate.
Files created by the Commvault Certificate Tool are placed in the workspace. Files that you provide to the tool, such as certificates that you want to import, should also be placed in the appropriate location in the workspace.
