You can add an Oracle RAC instance so that you can manage an Oracle RAC database.
Before You Begin
Make sure that you have the following information:

The Oracle application installation path
-
If you want to use the Oracle catalog connect string to connect to the database, then you must have the following information:

The database user name
-
The database user password
-
The database service name
-
Procedure
Add a New Oracle RAC Cluster

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The database overview page appears.

To create an instance, in the upper-right area of the window, click Add instance > Database server.
The database type selection page appears.

Select Oracle RAC, and then click NEXT.
The Add Oracle RAC instance page appears.

Move the Create a RAC cluster toggle key to the right.

In the RAC cluster name box, type a unique name for the cluster.

In the Database name box, type the name of the Oracle RAC database.

From the Plan list, select the server plan to use for the instance.

To use the Oracle catalog connect string, select the Use catalog connect check box, and then enter the Oracle catalog connect string.

Click ADD.
Add a New Instance to an Existing Oracle RAC Cluster

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The database overview page appears.

To create an instance, in the upper-right area of the window, click Add instance > Database server.
The database type selection page appears.

Select Oracle RAC, and then click NEXT.
The Add Oracle RAC instance page appears.

Move the Create a RAC cluster toggle key to the left.

From the RAC cluster name list, select the desired cluster.

In the Database name box, type the name of the Oracle RAC database.

From the Plan list, select the server plan to use for the instance.

To use the Oracle catalog connect string, select the Use catalog connect check box, and then enter the Oracle catalog connect string.

Click ADD.
