Adding a SAP MaxDB Instance to a SAP MaxDB System

Add a SAP MaxDB instance.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The database overview page appears.

2. From the Add instance list, select Database server.

   The Instances page appears.

3. From the Configure Database Instance dialog box, select SAP for MaxDB as database type.

4. Click NEXT.

   The Add SAP for MaxDB instance dialog box appears.

5. From the Server name list, select an existing SAP MaxDB server.

6. In the Instance name box, type the SAP MaxDB instance name.

7. From the Plan list, select the server backup plan to use for the instance.

8. Click ADD.
