You can add a storage array into the CommServe database and configure the information for IntelliSnap backups.
Note
The access node on this array is only used for data aging and automatic deletion requests. It is not used for the manual deletion requests that you can make in Arrays page.
Before You Begin
Important
After you add a storage array to the CommServe database, you cannot change the Snap Vendor, Name, or Control Host values of the storage array.
You can add an array without entering the credentials, but snapshot operations fail if the communication with the array cannot be established. Check whether you need to enter the credentials on the array documentation.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.
The Infrastructure page appears.

Click the Arrays tile.

In the upper-right area of the page, click Add arrays.
The Add arrays page appears.

On the General tab, do the following:

In the Snap vendor box, select a snapshot vendor.
If the snapshot vendor that you selected has snapshot configuration properties, then a Snap Configurations tab appears in the Add arrays page.

In the Array name box, type the array name.

In the Bucket box, type the name of an existing bucket.

In the Service host box, type the control host IP.

In the Username and Password boxes, type the credentials for the array.

Click Next.

On the Array access nodes tab, in the Available MediaAgents box, select an array access node, and then click Next.

On the Snap configurations tab, review the settings, and then click Save.
