Configuring Automatic Cleanup Options for Recovered Entities

You can disable automatic cleanup of entities after recovery or update the time interval between cleanup and recovery. By default, entities recovered into the Cleanroom are automatically cleaned up after 7 days of recovery.

Go to the Configuration Tab of the Recovery Group

1. From the navigation pane, go to Cleanroom > Recovery groups.

   The Recovery groups page appears.

2. Click the recovery group.

   The recovery group page appears.

3. Click the Configuration tab.

Disable Automatic Clean Up of Entities

You can disable automatic cleanup of entities in a recovery group and perform the cleanup operation on demand. By default, entities are automatically cleaned up after 7 days from recovery on the production CommServe and 4 hours before CommServe expiry on the Control Plane CommServe.

1. Go to the Cleanup options section.

2. Move the Cleanup entities after recovery toggle key to the left.

Set the Cleanup Interval

If you have enabled automatic clean up of entities in a recovery group, you can set the time interval between recovery and cleanup. This setting allows you to start the cleanup operation after waiting n number of days after recovery.

1. Go to the Cleanup options section.

2. Beside Cleanup interval (in days), click the Edit button .

3. In the box, enter the number of days after recovery the cleanup operation must be performed.

4. Click Submit.
