Configuring the Commvault Hybrid File Store Array Using Arrays Page

To use IntelliSnap with Commvault Hybrid File Store storage array, add the array in the Arrays page.

Start the Configuration Wizard

  1. From the navigation pane, click Manage > Infrastructure.

    The Infrastructure page appears.

  2. Click Arrays.

  3. On the Arrays page, click Add.

    The General page of the Add Snap Array configuration wizard appears.

General

  1. From the Snap vendor list, select Commvault Hybrid File Store.

  2. In the Array name box, enter the Commvault client name of the NFS server.

  3. In the Control host box, enter the IP address or the hostname of the NFS server.

  4. In the Description box, enter the description for the array.

  5. For credentials, do one of the following:

    Enter the credentials of a user who has the administrator or root privilege to access the array.

    • To use the saved credentials, move the Use saved credentials toggle key to the right, and then select credentials from the Saved credentials list.

    • To add new credentials, enter the credentials in User name and Password boxes.

  6. Click Next.

    The Array Access Nodes page of the configuration wizard appears.

Array Access Nodes

  1. From the Available MediaAgents list, select one or more access nodes and then click OK.

    • To select all the available MediaAgents as access nodes, click SELECT ALL.
  2. To disable pruning, move the Pruning toggle button of the respective access node to the left.

  3. To rearrange the selected access nodes, drag them upwards or downwards as required.

  4. Click SUBMIT.
