Configuring a Database Group to Run Backup Operations from a Standby Server

You can configure a database group to run backup operations from a standby server.

Before You Begin

To configure a database group to use a standby server, you must first configure the instance that contains the database group to use a standby server.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The database Overview tab appears.

2. On the Instances tab, click an instance.

   The instance Overview page appears.

3. On the Database groups tab, click the database group for which you want to enable running backup operations from a standby server.

   The database group Overview page appears.

4. In the General tile, select the Enable standby backup check box.
