An automatic auxiliary copy operation runs after the snapshot backup operation to copy the snapshot metadata to the replica copy. By default, the automatic auxiliary copy runs 90 minutes after the snapshot backup operation.
You must run the auxiliary copy operation in the following scenarios:

To manually verify and record snapshot availability on the remote array.

To browse the snapshot content of the replica copy before the automatic auxiliary copy operation runs.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Plans.
The Plans page appears.

In the Plan name column, select the plan to run an auxiliary copy for.
The Overview page of the server plan appears.

In the Backup destinations tab, in the Backup destinations tile, click Run auxiliary Copy.
The Run auxiliary Copy dialog box appears.

In the Run auxiliary Copy dialog box, do one of the following:

To run auxiliary copy for all the snapshot copies, select All copies.

To run auxiliary copy for a specific snapshot copy, select Select a copy, and then from the Select a copy list, select the vault/replica or mirror copy.
