Creating an Entity Tag

You can create predefined tags for different Commvault entities.

Before You Begin

Add the Tag Management permission to your role. For more information, see Managing Roles.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Tags.

   The Tags page appears.

2. Click the Entity tags tile.

   The Entity tags page appears.

3. On the top right corner of the page, click Add tag.

   The Add tag dialog box appears.

4. In the Name box, enter a tag name.

5. Click ADD.
