Disabling Write Operations on a Backup Location

You can disable new write operations on a backup location. However, you will be able to perform read and prune operations on the data available on the backup location.

Procedure

1. From the navigation, click Storage, and then click Disk.

   The Disk page appears.

2. Click the required disk storage.

   The Disk Storage page appears.

3. In the Backup locations section, click the required backup location.

   The Backup locations page appears.

4. In the Configuration section, slide the Disable backup location for future backups toggle key to the right.

   The status of the backup location changes to Ready (Disabled for write) under the Status column in the Disk Storage page.
