Editing the User Credentials or Description of a Storage Array

Before You Begin

After you add a storage array in the CommServe database, you cannot change the Snap Vendor, Name, or Control host values of the storage array.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, click Manage > Infrastructure.

   The Infrastructure page appears.

2. Click Arrays.

3. On the Arrays page, in the Name column, click the storage array.

   The Overview page of the array appears.

4. In the General tile, click Edit next to the User name.

   The Edit credentials dialog box appears.

5. In the Edit credentials dialog box, do one of the following:

   • To add new credentials, in the User name and Password boxes, enter the credentials.

   • To use saved credentials, move the Use saved credentials toggle to the right. From the Saved credentials list, select the credentials you want to use.

6. Click SAVE.

7. In the General tile, click Edit next to the Description.

8. You can edit the description of the array.

9. Click SUBMIT to save the information.
