Expanding the Storage Pool

You can add nodes to an existing HyperScale X storage pool to expand or scale out the storage pool.

Use the following steps to add nodes to an existing HyperScale X storage pool:

1. Check the prerequisites needed to add additional nodes to an existing HyperScale X storage pool.

2. Setup the environment to configure the settings needed to add additional nodes.

3. Based on your existing HyperScale X storage pool, add additional nodes using the appropriate network configuration method.

4. Perform post-setup tasks to complete the storage pool expansion.
