Managing Jobs from the Server Plans

You can retain, delete, or prevent and allow a copy of the backup job from the server plan that is associated with the job.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Plans.

    The plan page appears.

  2. Click the Server Plan that is associated with the backup job.

  3. On the Backup destinations tab, beside the backup job, click the action button action_button, and then select View jobs.

    The Jobs page appears with the list of jobs.

Retain a Job

To retain a job perform the following:

  1. On the Jobs page, beside the job ID, click the action button action_button, and then select Retain job.

    The Edit retention settings dialog box appears.

  2. Specify the retention period and then click Save.

Delete a Job

To delete a job perform the following:

  1. On the Jobs page, beside the job ID, click the action button action_button, and then select Delete job.

    The Confirm dialog box appears.

  2. In the box, type Delete, and then click Submit.

Prevent a Copy

To prevent a copy of a job perform the following:

  1. On the Jobs page, beside the job ID, click the action button action_button, and then select Prevent job.

  2. The Confirm dialog box appears.

  3. Click Yes.

    The Prevent copy dialog box appears.

  4. Review the details, and then click Confirm.

Allow a Copy

To allow the copy of the job that is prevented from being copied perform the following:

  1. On the Jobs page, beside the job that were prevented from being copied, click the action button action_button, and then select Allow copy.

    The job will be available for the copy operation.
