To access the data backed up in the snapshot, you need to mount the snapshot.
Before You Begin
By default, the snapshot will be exposed to the first Host Bus Adapter (HBA) on the ESX Server. To expose the snapshot to a specific HBA, configure the sPortInfo additional setting.
Procedure
-
From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers >client> agent.
-
Right-click the appropriate backupset, subclient, or instance, and then click List Snapshots.
The Snapshots created during IntelliSnap operation dialog box appears.
-
Right-click the snapshot, and then click Mount.
Tip
To select multiple snapshots, hold <Shift> key, and then select the snapshots to be mounted. In the Mount or UnMount dialog box, click Yes.
The Mount Path dialog box appears.
-
To mount the snapshot on an ESX server, do one of the following:
-
To mount the snapshot on the default ESX server configured for IntelliSnap backup, click OK.
