The Open Systems Backup Services Data Movement Application Programming Interface (XBSA) defines an interface between applications or facilities that require data storage management for backup or archive purposes, and the underlying services which provide these functions. Commvault supports MultiNode databases that implement the XBSA interface for data protection.
