If you want to perform recovery validation, do the following:

If you recovered an Active Directory domain controller server, log on to the Active Directory server and configure the network properties, including DNS details, so that the domain controller can communicate with other computers and DNS.

Ensure that the workloads are accessible and verify that the workloads are recovered successfully by logging in to each of the workloads.

After logging in to the recovered workloads, validate that applications and services are up and running as expected.

To ensure recovered workloads are free of ransomware, execute Microsoft Windows Defender or any other anti-virus/anti-malware security scanning solutions.
