Perform a Test Backup and Restore for SharePoint Online

To verify that the SharePoint Online app is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.

Back Up the Sites

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Office 365.

   The Office 365 apps page appears.

2. In the row for the app, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   A message prompts you to confirm submission of the backup job.

3. Click Yes.

Restore the Sites

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Office 365.

   The Office 365 apps page appears.

2. In the row for the app, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The sites page appears.

3. Select all the sites, and then click Restore.

   The restore dialog box appears, with options for restoring to the original location already selected.

4. Click Restore.
