Perform a Test Backup and Restore of Azure Active Directory

To verify that Azure Active Directory (AD) is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.

Back Up Azure AD

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Azure Active Directory.

   The Azure Active Directory page appears.

2. In the row for the app, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

3. Click OK.

Restore Azure AD

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Azure Active Directory.

   The Azure Active Directory page appears.

2. In the row for the app, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The Backup content page appears.

3. In the upper-left area of the page, from the App Registrations list, select the Users folder to view the objects.

4. Select a user.

5. Click Restore.

   The Restore dialog box appears.

6. Click Submit.
