Performing a Database Log File Backup

Applies to: MySQL, PostgreSQL

You can back up the database log files.

The Commvault software performs the backup operation on the database group that is configured for the log files.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The database Overview tab appears.

2. In the Instances tab, from the Actions column for the instance, click the action button , and then click Backup.

   The Backup options dialog box appears.

3. Under Backup level, select Incremental.

4. Select Log checkbox.

5. Click Submit.
