Post-Action Recovery Scripts

You can use one of the scripts to validate VMs running the following applications:

• Microsoft SQL Server: Checks the status of a Microsoft SQL Server instance on the recovered entities in both Linux and Windows environments.

  The CVGetSqlServerStatus.ps1 and CVGetSqlServerStatus.sh scripts can be downloaded from the Commvault Store.

  Note

  The downloaded file for SQL Server Validation script is compressed. After the file is downloaded, extract the Bash and PowerShell scripts.

• Microsoft Defender: This is a Microsoft command line tool script that scans recovered entities for potential threats using the Microsoft Defender antivirus. This script can be used to perform a post-recovery action inside the Cleanroom recovery groups.

  1. Verify that Microsoft Defender is installed in the following location: ProgramFiles\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe.

  2. Download the CVGetDefenderStatus.ps1 script from the Commvault Store.
