Restarting Services on a File Server or a Server

You can restart Commvault services on a file server or a server from the Commvault software, instead of logging on to the file server or server.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to the file server or server page:

   • For a file server, go to Protect > File servers.

     The File servers page appears.

   • For a server, go to Manage > Servers.

     The Servers page appears.

2. In the row for the file server or server that you want to restart services on, click the action button , and then click Restart services.

   A message appears saying that services are being restarted.
