You can restore backed up Active Directory data from

the latest backup
-
a recovery point in time
If you know exactly what object(s) need to be restored, restore them using the following steps.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Active Directory.

The Overview page appears.

On the Apps tab, click Active Directory.
The list of Active Directory servers appears.

Click the Active Directory server for which you want to restore backed up data.
The server properties page appears.

To restore from the latest backup, do the following:
-
On the upper-right area of the page, click Restore.
The backup content page appears.

Choose the content that you want to restore.

To restore all contents, select the check box next to Name.

To restore particular files, expand the folder and then select the files.

Click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.

To use the advanced restore options and restore only specific attributes, move the Restore only specific attributes toggle key to the right.

Enter the name of the attribute to restore, and then click Add.

Click Submit.

To restore from a particular point in time, do the following:
-
On the Recovery points tile, select the the required date to view the recovery points.

The default recovery point is already selected. Select the required recovery point.

On the Recovery points tile, click Restore.
The backup contents page appears.

Choose the content that you want to restore.

To restore all contents, select the check box next to Name.
-
To restore particular files, expand the folder and then select the files.

Click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.

To use the advanced restore options and restore only specific attributes, move the Restore only specific attributes toggle key to the right.

Enter the name of the attribute to restore, and then click Add.

Click Submit.

To view the restore history, click the action button , and then click View jobs.
