System Requirements for the Huawei Storage Array

Before you configure the storage array, verify that your environment meets the system requirements.

Encryption Algorithm

The Commvault software uses libssh version 2-1.6.0 with the following algorithms:

Install the following licenses.

Huawei OceanStor Convergent Series	Huawei OceanStor V3 Convergent Storage V300R006C50, V300R006C30, V300R006C20, V300R006C10 vStore is supported from V300R006C10 and later versions. Huawei OceanStor V5 Convergent Storage V500R007 Huawei OceanStor Hybrid Flash Storage 6.1
Huawei OceanStor Dorado Series	Huawei OceanStor Dorado V3-V300R001C00 Clone engine is not supported. User created vStores are not supported. Huawei OceanStor Dorado V6 – 6.1 Clone engine is not supported. User created vStores are not supported.

Use one of the following protocols.

Array	Protocols
Huawei OceanStor Convergent Series	CIFS, NFS. Support for the CIFS protocol and the NFS protocol is for network share backups only and with the Huawei OceanStor V3 models with version V300R006C10 or later versions. Fibre Channel iSCSI
Huawei OceanStor Dorado Series	Fibre Channel iSCSI CIFS and NFS. Support for these protocols is for network share backups only with V6 models.
