The Backup size tab in the Threat Indicators dashboard lists backup size-related anomalies on file systems and virtual machines.

If a ransomware agent encrypts files, the size of the backups and the deduplication block counts will increase. Thus, this report allows the user to detect anomalies in the amount of data written to the media during backups.
