Adding a Credential to Credential Vault

You can add a credential to access:

  • A network drive that you want to assign as a mount path to a disk library, or

  • A cloud library

Procedure

  1. In the CommCell Console, open Credential Vault.

  2. In the Credential Vault dialog box, in the Manage Credentials tab, click Add.

    The Add credential dialog box appears.

  3. On the General tab, from the Account Type list, select the account type for the credential that you want to add.

    If you selected Cloud Account as the Account Type, then select the cloud vendor from the Cloud vendor type list.

  4. From the Authentication list, select the required authentication type.

    Notes

    In the CyberArk application,

    • If you select the Access key and Account name authentication type, then select the Microsoft Azure Management platform.

    • If you select the IAM AD Application authentication type, then select the Microsoft Azure Password Management platform.

  5. In the Credential name box, enter a name for the credential.

  6. Enter the access information for the account.

  7. In the Description text box, enter a description for the credential and click OK.

  8. Click OK.
