You must create a virtualization client to manage data protection operations for all the virtual machines in a standalone XenServer or in a Xen pool. In deployments with multiple Xen pools, you must create a different virtualization client for each pool.
When you install the Virtual Server Agent (VSA) on a virtual machine, Commvault automatically creates a client computer entry for the resulting VSA proxy. Each VSA proxy can perform backup and restore operations.
You must add at least one VSA proxy for each virtualization client. Add more VSA proxies to provide load distribution and load balancing.
