For IntelliSnap backups from the Commvault software, add the Dell PowerStore storage array and configuration information to the CommServe database.
Before You Begin
-
You need to get the array service tag. You can find the service tag on the array software, in the Appliances section.
-
Verify that the credentials that you are going to use have the administrator role privilege or the storage administrator role privilege.
-
Verify that the subclient content is associated with only one PowerStore appliance. IntelliSnap backups are supported only if source volumes are associated with the same appliance.

On the ribbon in the CommCell Console, click the Storage tab, and then click Array Management.
The Array Management dialog box appears.

Click Add.
The Array Properties dialog box appears.
