For IntelliSnap backups from Commvault software, add the NetApp E-Series / LSI storage array and its configuration information to the CommServe database.
Before You Begin
Ensure that proxy computers are configured and have access to the storage device by adding a temporary LUN to the host using the Storage Management Console.
Procedure

On the ribbon in the CommCell Console, click the Storage tab, and then click Array Management.
The Array Management dialog box appears.

Click Add.
The Array Properties dialog box appears.

On the General tab, specify the following information:

From the Snap Vendor list, select NetApp E-Series/LSI.

In the Name box, enter the serial number for the array.
The Storage Subsystem World Wide Identifier (WWID) is the serial number.

In the Control Host box, enter the name of the server computer where the SMI-S server is installed.

In the Credentials area, click Change.
The Enter the User Name and Password dialog box appears.

Do one of the following:

If you created a user account for Common Information Module Object Module (CIMOM) access when installing the SMI-S provider, then type the credentials of that user, and then click OK.

If you didn't create a user account for CIMOM, then type the default credentials. The default user name is guest. The default password is guest.

To configure additional MediaAgents to perform operations on the storage array, click the Array Access Nodes tab, and then select configuration options.

On the Snap Configuration tab, configure the snapshot configuration properties for your environment or use the default values.

Ensure that the following snapshot configuration properties are configured for REST API support:

Click OK.
