Effective Release
In version 11.40, the Web Console interface will only be available on upgraded systems and will have reduced support.
In version 11.42, The Web Console interface will be deprecated.
Effect of Deprecation
In version 11.40, the Web Console will not be available for new installations. For existing installations, the Web Console will remain installed if it was already present before upgrading to 11.40, but it will no longer receive security updates. Security updates will continue as usual for other Commvault products and features.
In version 11.42, the Web Console will no longer be available on new or upgraded installations.
Migration Options
Migrate to the Command Center, which offers most of the same features, such as Reports. To learn more, see CommCell Configuration.
