Mount Path Properties (Sharing)

Use this dialog box to view the properties of the shared disk device that is associated with the mount path of a disk library.

Controllers

• MediaAgent

  Displays the name of the MediaAgent that will control the library.

• Path

  Displays the location of the mount path.

• Username

  Displays the user name that is used to access the mount path.

• Access

  Displays the access type.

  • If the access type is Read, then that mount path is used only for read operations.

  • If the access type is Read/Write, then that mount path is used for both read and write operations.

• Maximum Allowed Writers

  Specifies the maximum number of concurrent writers on the mount path.

• Enabled

  Specifies that the mount path is available for use. Clear this option to take the mount path offline.

• Accessible

  Specifies that the mount path is ready for accessible.

• Transport Type

  Displays the supported transportation types through which the mount path is shared with all the MediaAgents.

• Device Controller

  Displays the name of the MediaAgent that controls the library and the access type.

Share

Click this button to share mount paths on selected MediaAgents.
