You can recover individual messages from an Exchange database backup. The messages are recovered as PST files.
The method that you use to recover messages depends on how you performed the backup job. Most of the message recovery methods can be performed without restoring the entire database first.

Windows 2019 core edition is not supported for Live Browse.

You can use this recovery method for Public Folder databases for Exchange 2013 or later. If you want to restore messages from Public Folder databases for Exchange 2010 or earlier, use the Exchange Offline Mining Tool.
