If your laptop is missing, report the laptop missing. When your laptop is reported missing, an authorized user passkey is required to open any locked file.
Caution
If your laptop is missing and you are unable to access the Command Center, contact your administrator immediately.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Laptops.
The Laptops page appears.

Click Settings for the laptop that you want to mark as lost.
The laptop properties page appears.

In the upper-right corner of the page, click the action button
, and then click Mark laptop lost.The Mark laptop lost dialog box appears.

Click YES.
