Restoring Google Cloud Storage Data Across Cloud Accounts

You can restore Google Cloud Storage data cross-cloud to a different cloud account that is configured as an instance in the CommCell Console. You can restore to Amazon S3 and Azure Blob Storage accounts.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Cloud Apps > instance.

  2. Right-click the subclient, and then click Browse and Restore.

    The Browse and Restore Options dialog box appears.

  3. Click View Content.

  4. Select the data that you want to restore, and click Recover All Selected.

    The Restore Options dialog box appears.

  5. On the General tab, provide the destination information:

    1. Select the Cloud check box.

    2. From the Destination Client list, select the Amazon S3 or Azure Blob Storage client.

      Note

      Verify that the destination cloud storage is configured as a cloud storage client in the CommCell Console.

    3. From the Destination Instance list, select the appropriate instance.

    4. In the Destination Path box, type the full restore location path.

  6. On the Job Initiation tab, specify whether to run the restore now or if it will be scheduled.

    If you selected Schedule, set up the schedule.

  7. Click OK.
