Backing Up a MongoDB Atlas Instance On Demand

You can perform a full backup of a MongoDB Atlas database instance.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

The database Overview page appears.

1. Go to Instances tab.

2. Click the instance.

   The instance page appears.

3. In the upper-right area of the page, click Back up.

   The Backup options dialog box appears.

4. Under Backup level, select Full.

5. Click Submit.
