Configuring Access to Azure Resources Using an Azure App and a Secret

To protect Azure resources with the Commvault software and/or to store backups in Azure Blob Storage in an on-premises environment, you can use an Azure application and a secret.

Procedure

1. Register an Azure application with the Microsoft identity platform.

2. To the application, assign Commvault custom roles or Azure built-in roles for the types of resources that you want to protect.
