You can create an instant clone for DB2 to quickly duplicate a source database.
Before You Begin
-
The source client and the destination client must have the same version of DB2.
-
The DB2 user in both the source and destination database servers must have the same user ID.
-
The Commvault DB2 package and the MediaAgent must be installed on the destination client.
-
On the client that you will create the clone database on, create a directory to use as the mount path for the database clone files. This directory must be writable by the DB2 user, and must have the necessary space for the cloned server.
