To save storage costs, you can disable MongoDB Atlasbackups by deleting the backup schedules for the cluster.
Procedure

In the upper-right area of the MongoDB Atlas portal, click All Clusters.
The clusters that are associated with projects appear.

Click the cluster.
The cluster page appears.

On the Backup tab, go to Backup Policy.

Under Backup Policy Frequency and Retention, in the row for each frequency, click Delete.
