Getting Started with IntelliSnap

Getting started with using IntelliSnap for backups includes adding a storage array, specifying IntelliSnap in a server plan, and associating the server plan with entities.

Procedure

1. Add a storage array/cloud platform to the CommServe database.

2. Create a server plan with the snapshot settings that you want to use.

3. Associate the server plan with the entity that you want to back up.

   For information, see the documentation for the entity.

4. Enable IntelliSnap and select a snapshot engine.

Results

The next backup of the entity uses IntelliSnap.
