You can retain DR backups and stop them from aging to ensure that the backup sets are available during a disaster. When you submit a manual retention request, Commvault retains DR backups for additional 5 days.

Procedure

Log on to the Commvault Cloud Command Center.

From the navigation menu, go to Service catalog, and then click the Security Posture tile.

In the Recovery Validation column, click the score for your CommCell.

In the Backup Sets table, click Manually retain.
The Manual Retention dialog box appears. -
Click Submit.
