Complete the following steps to replicate snapshots on the storage virtual machine (SVM) array, with the Open Replication feature for Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP.
Before You Begin
To replicate snapshots with the Open Replication feature, you need a server plan that contains a vault/replica or mirror copy. If you have not yet done so, create a secondary snapshot copy as mentioned in the Configuration Process.
The Use Scalable Resource Allocation option is required to complete Open Replication job. The option is selected by default.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Plans.
The Plans page appears.

In the Plan name column, select the plan to run an auxiliary copy for.
The Overview page of the server plan appears.

In the Backup destinations tab, in the Backup destinations tile, click Run auxiliary Copy.
The Run auxiliary Copy dialog box appears.

In the Run auxiliary Copy dialog box, do one of the following:

To run auxiliary copy for all the snapshot copies, select All copies.

To run auxiliary copy for a specific snapshot copy, select Select a copy, and then from the Select a copy list, select the vault/replica or mirror copy.
