This setting specifies the IAM role used by the backup infrastructure in the target AWS account for operations such as backups and restores. When you use the express configuration method for hosted infrastructure, the role created in the target AWS account will have a trust relationship set to allow sts::AssumeRole from the hosted infrastructure role.
