Use the registered changelogs setting in JSON format to specify the changelog readers for each MDT when clients can’t directly access the Lustre MDT servers. Provide the mdtName to indicate the Lustre MDT and clName for the changelog reader registered with it. Include an entry for every MDT and its corresponding changelog reader in environments with multiple MDTs. When you use this configuration, Lustre backups reference it directly instead of querying the MDT for changelog details.
