The Hive iDA uses the entire HDFS available space as staging space by default. This additional setting restricts the use of HDFS space to be used by Hive iDA to export the table. By default, the agent allows the export of only one table during export irrespective of the staging space. The use of staging space can be optimized to fit more exports in the staging space as per the available free staging space. The tables that are larger than the staging space are also exported and backed up at the end of the job.
