Is it possible to modify the operational regions of an existing Cloud Rewind Cloud Connection
Yes, Cloud Rewind supports adding additional operational regions to existing Cloud Connection.
Where does Cloud Rewind store data of the Cloud Application environment?
Cloud Rewind provides cloud application resilience, by intelligently calculating the dependencies of the cloud infrastructure components associated with the high level instances (Compute) chosen for protection.
Cloud Rewind captures all the metadata information of the cloud resources and securely transfer its over AES-256 encrypted HTTPS to its cloud storage in Google Cloud. This data is secure in transit and at rest. While the critical application data stays within the customers cloud account, Cloud Rewind leverages the native snapshot capability provided by the cloud providers to take snapshot of the Application data and maintain immutable copies within the Customer account. Cloud Rewind also takes care of the lifecycle of the snapshots stored based on the Retention policy chosen at the time of creating the Cloud Assembly in Cloud Rewind.
Does the Cloud Rewind tool have built-in DevOps capability for both infrastructure and app configuration?
Cloud Rewind wouldn't say it's DevOps, but you can rebuild entire environments, cloud services, application images, and data at any point in time in any region or even across to another tenant account. Cloud Rewind uses cloud-native IAAC to rebuild your cloud environment.
Does Cloud Rewind create the dependency mapping based on network traffic (TCP)?
No, dependency mapping is not based on network traffic; it is totally based on cloud infrastructure services and the connections between the service.
