Creating a Service Account

You can create a service account to run Cloud Rewind APIs.

Procedure

1. From the navigation menu, go to IAM > Users.

   The Users page appears.

2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Create Account, and then select Service Account.

   The Create Service Account wizard appears.

3. In the Service Account Name box, enter a name for the new service account.

4. In the Service Account ID box, enter an ID for the service account.

5. Click Add Roles.

   The Add roles sidebar appears.

6. Select the roles for the service account. For example, select the roles that will create a cloud assembly.

7. Click Add Roles.

8. Click Next.

9. To create a key, click Create Key.

   The Create Key (Optional) sidebar appears.

10. For Key Type, select JWT or JSON.

11. Click Create Key.

12. When the key is generated, copy and save it in a secure location.

13. Click Finish.
