Custom network recovery allows you to recover resources in the specified network.
To do this, create a custom virtual network with subnets and other configurations that are same as the source network.
Procedure
-
Choose a timeline to recover.
-
In the Recovery page, enter the name of the recovery, choose the region option and the resources that you want to recover.
-
Go to the Advanced section, move the Enable custom virtual network recovery toggle key to the right.
-
Get the virtual network id from the azure portal by navigating to the respective virtual network > properties > Resource ID
-
Enter the virtual network id for recovery regions.
The example virtual network ID is /subscriptions/
/resourceGroups/ /providers/Microsoft.Network/virtualNetworks/ .
Note:
To create subnet for the recovered resource without an IP conflict, it is important to create the custom virtual network with subnets of the same name and IP range as the source virtual network.
