Logging in to Cloud Rewind

Overview

You can access Cloud Rewind in one of the following ways:

1. Access directly from Cloud Rewind portal login page.

2. Access Cloud Rewind via the Commvault SaaS Service Catalog.

Access Cloud Rewind from the Portal Login Page

1. Login as root user: The user's email id used to signup for an account in Cloud Rewind for the organisation, is the root user. The root user will be an email ID.

2. Login as a non-root user: Admin Users and all other users added by the root user are non-root users. These users can login using their email and password.

Root user login:

1. Open the cloud rewind login page in the browser. To find your login URL, refer Cloud Rewind Portal by Geography

2. Enter the root user mail ID and password to log in.

3. By navigating to IAM in the left panel, the Root users can add more users and assign roles to them.

Non-root user login:

1. Enter your 8-digit account ID or friendly account name (for example, Acme Inc.) provided by your administrator.

2. Enter your email address and password to log in.

Access Cloud Rewind from Commvault SaaS Service Catalog

You can log on to Commvault Cloud Rewind from the Service Catalog.

1. Login to https://login.metallic.io

   The Service catalog page appears.

2. From the Service catalog, locate the Cloud Rewind tile.

3. To start the trial, click Request Trial for Commvault Cloud Rewind.

   The Commvault software will set up a trial subscription, provision your account in Cloud Rewind, and configure Single Sign-on between your Commvault tenant and Cloud Rewind.

4. For subsequent access, return to the service catalog and then click Manage.
