A Recovery Test Policy helps you schedule tests for your application in the recovery region, ensuring that your configured protection policy effectively supports real recovery scenarios.
Note
Only AWS and GCP cloud connections support Recovery Test Policy.
Procedure

From the navigation menu, go to Cloud Resilience > Cloud Assemblies.

Click the cloud assembly.
The Cloud Assembly details page appears.

On the Policies tab, in the Recovery Test Policy table, click Create Recovery Test Policy.
The Create Recovery Test Policy page appears.

In the Policy name box, enter a name for the recovery test policy.

From the Select timezone list, select the timezone to schedule the recovery test policy.

From the Select frequency type list, select the frequency at which the policy should run.

Depending on the frequency type selected, select the time, date, or day.

In the Offset time box, enter a specific time in multiples of 5 minutes to trigger the policy.

From the Select recovery region list, select the recovery region.

From the Always choose the last list. select Successful protection only or Successful or Partial protection only.

In the If the last timeline fails, choose from the previous list, specify the number of recent timelines.

In the Reset after (in HOURs), enter the reset duration.

Click Save.

Perform a reset operation on the recovered resources by schedule.
